Most people buy vegetables and fruits from one of the many vegetable bodegas in the neighborhood. For all other essentials, Coto is a great choice. Very budget-friendly, though, they're a bit slow with foreign credit cards so check out takes a while. Carrefour, another grocery store, is two blocks up the street from Coto.
