“Ummmm. It's Moticello. Go. It's historic. It's Thomas Jefferson at his best. ;-) But seriously, if you are a history buff, this is a must. It's a little over an hour drive. ”
“Every year we have Friday's After Five which is free and open to the public to enjoy live music, food trucks, and drinks from 5:30-8:30 from April to September! It's my favorite thing to do in C'ville!!”
“On the historic downtown pedestrian mall. Huge booths inside to accommodate board games or drawing pads, plus a row of TVs over the bar (not turned on loud, so it isn’t distracting if you don’t care about sports) set to every imaginable type of sporting event will keep kids happy. The burgers (they have an amazing veggie burger and a paleo option as well) are great, and the service is quick and friendly. Great outdoor seating on the downtown Pedestrian mall.”
“Good wine, close to bnb with gorgeous mountain views. Go when the weather is nice so you can sit outside.”
“Authentic French food at a reasonable price. Tiny inside but wonderful shaded seating beside the downtown mall fountain. Their sister restaurant Fleurie on 4th St off the mall is much more expensive!”
