The Dallas Zoo, an accredited member of the Association of Zoos & Aquariums, is the largest zoological experience in Texas featuring a 106-acre park, thousands of animals, and an education department that offers programs for all ages.
A large, beautifully designed zoo with air tram as well as plenty of dining or picnic areas.
My favorite thing about the Dallas Zoo is the animals always seem happy. It has great shows, zoo food standards, and a monorail ride that is very educational. Don't miss the Simmons Hippo Outpost or the Gorilla Exhibit that is home to some of the most endangered Gorilla's and two new"ish" babies…
