Open since October 2003, the Nasher Sculpture Center is dedicated to the display and study of modern and contemporary sculpture. The Center was the longtime dream of the late Raymond & Patsy Nasher, who together formed one of the finest collections of modern and contemporary sculpture in the world.
The Nasher Sculpture Center is one of my favorite things to do in the Arts District! They have the best location - directly across from Klyde Warren Park. Its so nice to wander through admire the sculptures and then continue n to the park on a gorgeous spring or fall day.
Beautiful garden, architecturally interesting and a shining star in the art world. Enjoy your time here. Roll around in the chairs parked outside the front door. Pretty decent little cafe too.
Sculpture museum that hosts Midnight at the Nasher during summer months featuring outdoor movies, live band performances and food concessions w/ access to the museums gallery. Check the website for dates/performances.
Beautiful museum designed by world-renowned architect Renzo Piano in collaboration with landscape architect Peter Walker.
See works of modern and contemporary Masters at this famous Dallas sculpture garden!
“The DMA is awesome! It's fun to browse after brunch, or on a dreary day. They have ongoing art lectures and architecture series and the art is awe inspiring. Highly recommend!”
“This place offers yoga classes, meditation, and unique art workshops/classes. It's got a secluded patio surrounded by bamboo and some of the most interesting asian art pieces I've seen. I am inspired every time I visit this intriguing space.”
