It is located in correspondence of the island of Levanzo and it is among the best known and most suggestive coves in Favignana. The main attractions are the crystalline color of its waters and the particularity of the coast, which was once an open-air quarry. In fact, on the coast of Cala Rossa and nearby, we find traces of what for centuries, together with fishing and agriculture, was the primary source of income for the islanders: the extraction of "calcarenite arenaria", erroneously known like tuff.

Spiaggia mozzafiato rimasta selvaggia, con le sue impervie rocce da scalare per accaparrarsi un posto al sole e il meritato bagno in quell'acqua meravigliosa di un azzurro intenso e cristallino.
