Yahya’s about 3 quarters a mile away has great middle eastern food -they have a buffet for 16 a person from 6-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays which is totally worth it. the interior is plain jane, but you don't come here for the interior

1.9 miles northeast (at Gaylord St. & Colfax Ave.) A little Turkey, a little Syria, a little Iraq. Lots of deliciousness in a little place.
