This is the closest beach to me. It's about 1.6 miles away. You can get there on the foster ave bus east.
Wonderful beach and park surrounding it. Tons of room to walk and soak up some epic views of the Chicago skyline from the Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary!
Great beach with views of the downtown. There is a solid restaurant on the beach.
“Cozy bar featuring pub food & whisky/beer flights in a low-lit setting with a dog-friendly patio.”
“Amazing live music and spoken word poetry. Historic gin joint originally owned by Al Capone. 2 blocks from Red Line at Argyle”
“A friendly, chill, and authentic Chicago sports bar and pizzeria. The menu is packed with good bar food and great deep dish and thin crust pizza, as well as good drink specials. One of the better places to catch a game on the northside”
“While my husband will disagree, (he's a White Sox fan) Wrigley Field is definitely iconic. I have been a die hard Cubs fan for almost thirty years. The field has grown and developed and so has the surrounding neighborhood but it is always a blast to check out a game and hang out.”
