“This gem of a park in downtown Salem links to 2 other parks via footbridges, creating miles of trails for biking or walking. Heading south will put you on the architectural Peter Courtney Minto Island Bridge over the Willamette Slough and into Minto-Brown Island Park. Heading west over the Willamette River puts you on the old Union Street Railroad Bridge into Wallace Marine Park and West Salem. ”
“Fresh, local food with dynamic flavor. Conveniently located next to the Elsinore Theatre for a pre-entertainment drink or meal.”
“Excellent coffee in a beautiful building. Their coffee specials are unique, seasonal, and crave-worthy. My personal favorite is Earl’s Grey Sweater: Espresso on tap, earl grey tea, milk, sugar, orange juice. ”
“Enjoy a nice stroll through this beautiful park in the middle of a historic neighborhood. There are a couple of toy options for the kids. A small rose garden on the northwest corner. Great picnic spot!”
