If you want to skip all the crowds of tourists on the Brooklyn bridge, the Williamsburg bridge offers great views and is the route real New Yorkers use to bike/skate/walk to Manhattan over the bridge. Get off at the Lorimer stop and follow the signs to the Williamsburg bridge footpath.

Take the time to walk to Williamsburg Bridge! One of the best views of the city, and drops you off right in the heart of Williamsburg. About a 45 minute walk

Walking the bridge is something I do even on the worst of the winter days and the muggiest of the summer. Why though? Cause it's awesome. Do it! It drops you off on the Lower East side, Nolita, Soho and China Town.

Walking across the bridge is a great way to get a view of city. The entrance is on the west side of Bedford ave between S. 5th and S. 6th streets.

“More commonly known for Smorgasburg, America’s largest weekly open-air food market (which is family-friendly!), on Saturdays and Sundays during the warmer months, the park is open seven days a week, year-round. Come to this Williamsburg park to enjoy a picnic, walk out onto Hurricane Point, watch live music, play soccer in Bushwick Inlet Park, fly a kite in the open green space, or simply relax—all with a view of Manhattan. ”
