“A busy flower market on Sunday mornings. Don t miss the coffee and wine shops on Ezra street with amazing street musician's. Magical when the sun is out..”
“It’s just a few minutes walk from the appartment, has lots of friendly animals AND has a tasty cafe too!”
“The pub is on the Columbia Road Road where Flower Market is on every Sunday. Cosy, great beer and lovely food. ”
“Hurwundeki has the look of a cool East London location, and the taste of a Korean kitchen. It marries the two cultures so well it’s hard to pull them apart. In a restaurant of brick and what feels like handmade furnishings, traditional Korean dishes are cooked with a modern touch. Freshness and simplicity is central at Hurwundeki, and natural flavours are the best seasoning. With an affordable lunch and dinner menu, here guests can enjoy a wide range of Korean dishes such as bibimbap in hot pots or japchae glass noodles. And, for that East London flare, be sure to book a time in their salon for a quick and stylish haircut.”
“Balfron Tower was designed by architect Ernő Goldfinger and is associated with the Brutalist style of 1960's architecture. Goldfinger himself was pleased with the design and moved into flat 130, on the 25th floor, for two months in 1968. He and his wife threw champagne parties to find out what the residents liked and disliked about his design. He applied what he learnt to his design for the similar and more famous Trellick Tower in West London.”
