If you want to get away from traffic and roads then why not visit the Camel Trail and head towards the estuary to Padstow. You can hire a bike from Wadebridge or just walk part of the trail.
The Camel Trail is a flat 6 mile path which follows the Camel River from Wadebride to Padstow. Bike rental, including ebikes, is available from Wadebridge. The trail is very pretty with lots to view along the way.
