Inspired by the saunas of Scandinavia, Loyly is the perfect place to unwind on a rainy Portland winter day. Enjoy the cedar saunas, a massage/facial by appointment, or a handful of DIY services (masks, foot soaks, etc).
Everyone needs a spa day. One of the two places in the neighborhood that I like. This one only has Saunas, but it feels very luxurious.
Soooo relaxing. You can book a 2-hour sauna and add on a massage if you like. Check their online schedule as some days are co-ed and others women only. You have to make an appointment in advance but they will often be able to fit you in same day...
Day Spa - book online by the hour, check schedule for male / female friendly days.
“simple menu featuring undeniably delicious Detroit style pan pizza. Go for a lunch slice or a whole pie”
“Take your kids to the play ground, play with other people's dogs, toss a frisbee, soak up the sunshine!”
“If you love tea and history go get a lesson from these guys. It's more than just a store, you can do a tasting and get a lesson about everything tea related.”
“Portlanders like to have a beer just about anywhere they go, including laundromats and dog hotels. This definitely includes movie theaters, and most independent ones serve beer, wine, and cider, like Laurelhurst Theater, Cinemagic, Academy Theater, and basically any McMenamins movie theater. Grab a local brew and catch a second-run or premiere film for a relaxing evening.”
