New Farm Park
Amazing playground for children. Take the CityCat at the end of Montague Road.
New Farm Park is one of Brisbane’s oldest, grandest and largest parks, and attracts more than 18,000 visitors each week from all around the world. It is also a popular spot for local families to enjoy a quiet picnic.
Just a beautiful piece of Brisbane! The park is a great place to lie in the sun, to exercise, to picnic or to just hang out. Parking can be a bit tricky on weekends, but it's only a 1km walk from The Cottage.
Gorgeous open parkland with the Power house adjacent, which has alternative shows and theatre. A lovely restaurant is attached with great river views
Ride a bike down the hill to the lovely New Farm Park for a picnic. Catch the free City Hopper ferry back to avoid riding back up the hill :)
