Something for everybody and it's all excellent!! Amazing pit stop for everything food and drink. Great atmosphere! Loads of local shopping as well.
A collection of artisanal and local producers. Great stop when visiting the V&A Waterfront.
The ultimate tourist destination that provides the scenic natural beauty of Cape Town. It hosts a wide variety of entertainment and a myriad of restaurants and pubs. Also famous for the modern Cape Town Ferris wheel.
An array of street food served in an authentic market environment, with over 40 vendors housed in the historical Pumphouse building off Nobel Square. Live music, craft beer and great food. Open 7 days a week (November to April 10h00 – 20h00; May to October 10h00 – 18h00).
“Its a great hike, but recommend you use hiking boots and be please ensure that you are fit, as it is quite a steep hike and has some sections that you climb steel ladders. Take water & food for the summit. Very busy, so try to go early in the morning.”
“You cannot visit Cape Town and not visit one of its oldest markets, set on a cobbled square between Short and Longmarket Streets. Greenmarket Square square dates back to 1696, the year when the first Burgher Watch House (Now the Old Town House) was built. This is where Capetonians have been buying their clothing, jewellery, sandals, crafts and nick-nacks for years, and, whilst the face of the market may have changed a little - African curios now predominate - there is still an exciting buzz as well as evidence of the city’s most colourful and eccentric characters.”
“Tiny Italian that serves some of the best Italian you'll get in CT - a little local gem. Have to book in advance.”
