LOCAL Public Eatery, where laidback warmth meets quality food, and good times in the comfort of our “living room.”
Good neighbourhood bar/eatery right across from Kits beach. Usually a fun lively place (can be crazy busy in the summer).
A favourite for drinks, burgers, nachos and pirogies. It has an outdoor patio as well, and is right across the beach!
Beach side patio and local hot spot, very close to our property. The casual beach side sports bar has a the most popular patio in kits, right across the road from Kits beach. It’s always packed, so be prepared to wait for a spot, and those fish tacos will taste even better. Local Pro Tips: Great…
The #1 spot for drinks in Kits. It's right on the beach, but get there early on sunny days so you aren't waiting. I really enjoy this place for brunch as well.. make sure you sit on the patio!
Great view, awesome food + drinks. Perfect for watching the game, sunday brunch or group get togethers! Other cool spots along this road if you are in the mood for bar/dining hopping after a walk by the beach!
“It's like New Orleans. Southern comfort food. Fun staff great atmosphere, good patio. Fun times.”
“I think the closest pharmacy. Also offers everything you could need in a local drug store. It's the go to for most Vancouverites now. If you shop at Superstore or are an Optimum member cetain deals and shopping days mean extra points. ”
“This great little spot is definitely a neighbourhood draw and is always buzzing with a diverse crowd. The Oakwood is known for its "all-Canadian" poutine, gourmet burgers and its décor - rustic Canadiana – wood, bleached antlers, lots of craft beer. Chef, Mike Robbins sources thoughtfully, he buys Ocean Wise seafood and local or Canadian meat and poultry. My recommendations are the burgers the warm kale salad and the poutine. If your looking for a cozy upscale casual spot in the neighbourhood I would check out Oakwood Canadian Bistro. ”
“THE BIMINI PUBLIC HOUSE Named for a Bahamian island haven and supply point of prohibition-era rum runners, the Bimini is no stranger to a dark and stormy. There’s a real neighbourhood history between those wood-panelled walls, where local hippies and Greenpeacers used to hold court, and today it remains the locals’ local. A Vancouver icon, the Kitsilano neighbourhood pub augments its 24 draught taps with craft beer clubs and dinners, Tottenham supporters and this nations future from nearby UBC. Its strong cocktails, earnest wine list and locally sourced menu make The Bimini a resurrection to celebrate, and not just for a rum run. Hours: Sun – Thur & Holidays: 11:30am – 1am Fri & Sat: 11am – 2am Brunch: Available weekends & holidays till 4pm Happy Hour: Mon – Fri, 3pm – 6pm”
