Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill
A beautiful restaurant with spectacular red rock views. A bit expensive so we like to go for lunch and sit outside on the patio.
This is a DESTINATION restaurant for its food and best Ariona views, one of Arizona's best. Pricey, but worth it. Open for lunch and dinner. Visit in late afternoon to watch the sunset light up the red rock mountains. It's like a picture out of a movie.
This place is extremely well done and has top-notch views and valet parking for a price that is worth it. Maybe $40 per person (taxes and tip) with drinks extra.
New, wonderful food, views and worth trying. Expensive! Lisa Dahl is the owner, she's noted for serving only the best! She owns 4-5 wonderful restaurants in Sedona and VOC.
“Upscale, yet casual, local neighborhood restaurant. The Hudson, an American eatery, welcomes you daily for lunch and dinner with chef-driven food, great cocktails and wine, and a fun, inviting, family-like atmosphere. Chef Jeff Storcz pairs sophisticated comfort food with genuine hospitality in a relaxed urban atmosphere at an exceptional value. The menu combines the very best simple, yet hearty, dishes ranging from chopped salads to juicy burgers, and truly great fish, chicken, ribs and steak.”
“Shopping is just shopping, right? There are a few little shopping centers in Sedona with all kinds of shops including restaurants and they're fine but Tlaquepaque is different. It's a unique plaza fashioned after an old Mexican town. Great shops, galleries, and restaurants. Fun to walk around to appreciate the architecture and some of their events. Have a nice stroll.”
“The food and drinks are really unique and delicious. Very popular and unfortunately they do not take reservations so customers start lining up about 4:30 To be the first to get in when they open at 5pm. If you go later be prepared to wait. You can get a drink at the bar and sit outside while you wait. They give free popcorn and have corn hole games around. If you buy the chefs cookbook he will come out and sign it for you if available. Well worth the wait, the food is amazing!”
“This beautiful cafe is on the way to Sedona by taking the "switchbacks" aka 89 A, and is 24 miles from here. Allow about 35 minutes...but it is a lovely drive if you just want a little sample of oak creek. The cafe has indoor seating and my most favorite outdoor patio in the area. Expect it to be busy....so off hours MUCH BETTER. The food and pastries...wow...and the salads.... After a ride or run in Sedona I stop here. I could live on the back patio. Bring a book. Next to the cafe is Garlands Native American Jewelry and is definitely worth visiting. ”
