The Capela da Almas or Capela de Santa Catarina is a chapel located in the parish of Santo Ildefonso. The chapel has its origins in an old wooden chapel built in honor of Santa Catarina. The construction of the building that exists today dates back to the end of the 18th century, when the Brotherhood of Souls and Chagas of São Francisco moved from the Monastery of Santa Clara to the Chapel of Santa Catarina.
