What is Vienna famous for? Answer: apple strudel. My local recommendation - Café Landtmann!
It's full of tourists but locals as well. It has the best Schnitzel in our opinion.
“this bar-restaurant is on the roof top of the building with the great view on Stephansdom”
“Fancy and noble bar/restaurant :) absolutely beautiful interior and service! Best Bellinis in town!”
“The grandest of Vienna’s grand cafés, this storied spot was frequented by everyone from Trotsky to Freud in its heyday. Today it’s definitely a tourist attraction (you won’t find many locals braving the line outside), but it’s worth battling the crowds for its outstanding pastry section alone.”
“Order the special Tafelspitz is a typical food. I like it more than the world famous Schnitzel, is a must do in Vienna if you like meat. ”
“Tiergarten Schönbrunn (literally, "Schönbrunn Animal Garden"), or "Vienna Zoo", is a zoo located on the grounds of the famous Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria. Founded as an imperial menagerie in 1752, it is the oldest continuously operating zoo in the world. The still preserved buildings of the baroque era, which have been complemented in the last years by elements of modern zoo architecture, still convey a good impression of the 18th century menagerie-buildings after the Versailles model. ”
