Parc de Merlet
Paid for park, with all the local wildlife easy to see. The Marmozets are our favourite. Great place to stroll around with families. Beautiful views across the valley to Mont Blanc. If you don't want a long walk, keep driving as there is nearly always a space at the top! (Summer only)
The Parc Animalier de Merlet is not a zoo. It's a reserve for deer, chamois, bouquetins, marmots, llamas and more. Come see the animals in their natural habitat.
A great escape for families to meet the fauna and flora and enjoy a fantastic view on the Mont-Blanc range.
“Fabulous lake with walk/bike track around it. Lovely beach, with lifeguards during the summer holidays. A leafy park area with barbeques ready to use, entertainment for children and a great play park for little ones. Beautiful for a walk even in winter”
“Jazz club founded and managed by French artist André Manoukian. Free access to concerts.”
“One of our favorites, high quality menus and rustic vibe - reservation is needed in high season”
“Great views on a nice day. There are is also thye crystal museum and the famous glass box. ”
“A gorge in Servoz with a very well maintained footpath (about 1.3km each way). In summer the water level is natural so can be impressive after rain (and you don't need clear blue skies to enjoy this walk). ”
