Sandy bottom. Coral about 60 feet out if you want to do some light snorkeling. Good place to bring kids.

No reef here so it's a lovely swim! Best kids' beach around!

Great Beach to go swim, tan, or meet new friends. It's still in Waikiki, but not as crowded as the rest of that area.

Small beach at the end of Waikiki with ample parking. Still considered Waikiki, but away from the hustle and bustle and a good mix of local and visitor crowd. Right next to Kapiolani park which ha great running/exercise areas.

Every Friday night there is a fireworks show that can be seen from this beach and others along the Waikiki shoreline. They start at 7:45 and last 5-10 mins
