Grocery or Supermarket
PCC Community Markets - Columbia City
Brand new store with lots of food options: deli, hot bar, salads, tacos and pizza. 12 mins by rt. 7, in Columbia City.
Seattle's locally grown, community-owned grocery store providing fresh, local, organic, seasonal and sustainable products. It's not cheap, but it has everything you need in turns of local and organic products.
PCC has outstanding organic produce, natural supplements and health goods, groceries, a deli, espresso bar, hot food bar, and more. Great spot to grab a quick healthy lunch.
The hot and cold food bar are varied and delicious. The wine & liquor selection is generally local, smartly sourced, and unexpectedly awesome. And, like any good grocery store, the ice cream selection is top notch.
“Some of the best bread and baked goods in the country are about a block away. (No joke: Head baker Evan Andres has been nominated for three James Beard Awards.) It’s hard to go wrong here, but our favorites include the breads, the ham and cheese croissant, the salami sandwich, and the tortas. Also, the cakes.”
“Tutta Bella treats its employees well and their wood-fired Neapolitan pizza is world-class. There’s a nice bar/coffee shop on one side, and a large dining room on the other. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great spot for kids. ”
“First run movies in the historic Ark Lodge building. Thankfully, you don't have to drive to the 'burbs to catch a great flick. The staff is super nice and it has a very local vibe. Walk down and grab some popcorn, then splurge on an ice cream from Molly Moon's after (next door)”
“Great local bar with great cocktails. Casual space - good for late night drinks and light food. Good sandwiches for lunchtime.”
“Bustling breakfast through late-lunch, this American diner is known for serving hardy comfort food in a comfortable setting. Cash or CC, but bring cash for "Geraldine's cash back". ”
