El Museo Marítimo de Barcelona se encuentra ubicado en el edificio de las Atarazanas Reales de Barcelona. Las atarazanas fueron un espacio dedicado a la construcción naval entre los siglos XIII y XVIII, cuya existencia está documentada desde el año 1243.

It is a lovely interesting museum, with a beautiful patio full of orange trees and even a fountain, where one can have café, a drink, or lunch in the lovely restaurant. It is just around the corner from my flat.
