Tucked in the heart of Riverdale, a lush, mature neighbourhood within walking distance of Edmonton’s downtown, sits Little Brick Café and General Store. Surrounded by tall brown fences, you enter this beautiful heritage home-turned-café by strolling through what was once a large backyard and today…
A charming café and general store in an old brick house built in 1903 in the heart of Edmonton's river valley. Walk into the neighbourhood off the river valley trails and make yourself at home with a coffee while browsing some quirky local goods.
This gem is tucked away in Riverdale. In a converted house, this quaint coffeehouse also showcases products made in Edmonton around their main room, or you can sit in the sunny and sheltered yard. My friends booked it for a summer wedding reception because of its beauty and quality.
“An Edmonton-based vintage, and antique shop that also carries florals, home goods, and stationery!”
“Beat the summer heat or work on your tan at the outdoor pool in Mill Creek Ravine.”
“Great restaurant + local craft beer = perfection. Be sure to check out the Holiday Market if you are here at the right time of year! ”
“Organic groceries and supplements. 5 minute walk on the corner of 82 ave and 96 street.”
“ Best bakery in Edmonton and it's at the end of our block. Boulangerie Bonjour breads are made using centuries old European bread making traditions. BONJOUR specializes in ‘pain au levain’ (French for sourdough) which is made using wild yeast culture (levain). Pain au levain’ has a unique appearance, flavour and aroma that is distinctive and irresistible. Not a sit down bakery.”
