Worth stopping in for a drink or just to look at the lobby. See the ducks “march” into the lobby around 11 and go back up the elevator around 5. It’s crowded around 5, so get there early and perhaps get a nearby table. I’m my opinion this is a bit drawn out, but if you find a comfortable spot to sit or stand, it’s at least a unique experience. Good for kids (except for the waiting).

Peabody duck March the Peabody hotel lobby 149 Union Ave. daily 11 AM and 5 PM afterwords take the elevator to the roof and take in the view

The famous Peabody Hotel is located a couple blocks down from Beale Street. Upscale bar located inside.

The grandest hotel in the south according to food and leisure magazine. Also according to travel magazine. Great rooftop to hang out for city views. Historic hotel with a daily “Peabdody Duck Walk” from the lobby fountain to the Duck Palace on the roof!
