Secret Beach Park
About a 30 minute walk through lower Gibsons and past Gospel Rock along Gower Point Road.
Another great beach for walking and swimming. Closer to Gibsons on Gower Point Road, watch for the sign.
Secret Beach in Gibsons is particularly lovely for wandering at low-tide rain or shine.
Secret Beach isn't actually that secret but its still a nice beach to go to. You can walk from here. It takes about half an hour to 45 min depending on your pace. If you turn left at the end of our driveway and take a right at O'Shea you will hit the trail. Stay on the main arteries of the trail and…
This is one of our favourite beaches. You must follow a trail through the woods to get down to the beach. It is covered in small smooth rocks and also offers great tidal pools to check out marine life.
“Good for specialty liquors or special beer that you may not find at the regular liquor store. Also have a cold beer fridge”
“Best coffee in Gibsons, great merchandise and cool little spot to hang out. Fresh bakes from Deadly Donuts and artwork from local artist Ben Tour (notice a piece of his work in the suite)”
“Everything, and I mean everything on this menu is delicious - true Italian spot! and RIGHT on the water!!”
“Sprockids is full of trials for both hikers and bikers. Its really close to us too. I have to admit I haven't spent a ton of time in there, but the time I have spent I have loved! There are a ton of mushrooms in there if you know where to look. I have gone to the waterfalls too and it was amazing. Definitely worth checking out! ”
“Drift Cafe is one of my favourite dining experiences in Gibsons. If you want a great culinary experience they have a 3 course dinner special for $42. You can choose from their menu an appetizer, main and desert with complimentary coffee or tea. Highly recommend.”
