Close 10 minute drive to Tāwharanui Regional park with its renown coastal walking tracks and beautiful white sand beaches. 7 minute drive to Matakana Village for all your essentials and of course the Matakana Markets held on Saturdays. Whether you are in the Matakana / Tāwharanui for a relaxing weekend or holiday, Little Takatu is the perfect getaway spot. Relax and recharge in our sauna + ice bath space on the same property - Little Takatu Sauna + Chill.

Our space is great for travellers who enjoy wineries, cafes, beaches, walks, a boutique cinema, Matakana market on Saturdays, Morris and James pottery and the variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have an adequate shopping centre and local pub within walking distance.

Welcome to your getaway. An expansive, lush property bordered by a stream and native trees with an extensive garden where you are welcome to wander and sit. A private and peaceful Hot Tub area is available for your use. "Southwind" is a small rural property surrounded by farmland and other lifestyle blocks. We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

Only 600 meters walk to a sheltered beach. One Km walks to shop and restaurants. Only 1 hour drive from Auckland.
