Poolside Retreat Pet Friendly

Tropical apartment with beautiful pool only steps away from the ocean. Owners live on the property. Our goal is to maintain your privacy while being close to help with any of your needs. There may be a chance you will share the pool area with other guests or owners. If you have a pet, please inquire before booking. Our Border Collie Jax, can be picky about the friends who visit him. Interested in fishing, diving, or island hopping? We have a boat available to take you out for an additional fee.

Vernon Place is a perfect home base for exploring Melbourne either on vacation or for work. A small 1950's cottage complete with shared pool and fenced in back yard. This guest house is budget-friendly, convenient stay in a central location. It's just minutes Historic Downtown Melbourne and the beaches, and minutes to Florida Institute of Technology. Historic Downtown Melbourne attracts tourists from all over the globe with its boutiques and restaurants. Small dogs allowed with prior approval.

We are located within a wildlife preserve 4 miles south of historic Melbourne Beach and 9 miles North of Sebastian Inlet State Park. 12% County and State tourist taxes.

You’ll love our place because it's peaceful, the views, the wildlife, the location and the coziness. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers & boaters with the dock and river access. Tandom kayaks & bicycle available. Bring your fishing pole and sit out on the dock to fish or watch the fish jump or the manatees or the occasional dolphin!
