Very inexpensive but good home-style tacos & burritos. DO NOT go to Taco Bell when you can go here. Ask for the chicken tostada -- it's not on the menu but they'll make it.

Venerable coffee place with good food. Gets crowded so pick your time wisely. The restaurant is on one side and the coffee place is on the other. My mom, a sexagenarian coffee-holic, said the coffee took the top of her head off.

Saber-toothed Tigers, Dire Wolves, and Mastadons got stuck in the tar and their bones are on display. Great for kids; free to wander the grounds and see the paleontology in progress, though the museum is kinda pricey. Worth it, though!
