Food Scene
The best view in Istanbul, excellent food and selection of wine and cheese. You may want to pop in even just for an aperitive to enjoy the sunset or for an after dinner drink for the night view. Bear in mind that the very open rooftop (above the actual restaurant) is just for the good season as it is mostly closed in winter and on days of bad weather. Ideal for a special tete-a-tete occasion.. definitely romantic and soulful! Not a place for partying though.
Reservation is always recommended (if not even necessary!) and the manager is a very good friend, in case you decide to dine here.

No:66/B Kumbaracı Ykş.Possibly the best restaurant nearby being only a short walk away and being its chef awarded the best in Istanbul in 2013, just after a few months from the opening. Not exactly and totally traditionally turkish because of its very original menu but/and definitely worth a visit. Closed on Sundays.

Tünel Square is one end of Istiklal (the other being Taksim Square) where the underground to Karaköy and the historical tram terminals are.

It has the advantage of being open-air and therefore allowing for conversation on top of dancing. Fabulous for mingling and making new friends too. So you have good drinks, excellent music and fabulous people 6 nights a week.

It is nearly a club thanks to the great electronic music always mixed live by the best local DJs as well as by international guests especially from the Berlin scene. It has the advantage of being open-air and therefore allowing for conversation on top of dancing. Fabulous for mingling and making new friends too. So you have good drinks, excellent music and fabulous people 6 nights a week.
Sightseeing
The Galata Tower (Galata Kulesi in Turkish) is one of if not the most famous and important landmark of Istanbul. It is only a short walk away and it is a must-see/must-be because you definitely want to reach the top and enjoy a 360 degrees view of the heart of Istanbul.

Getting Around
The nearest metro station to us called Şişhane with its entrance on Istiklal Avenue just before Tünel Square. When coming to us it is essential that you take the Istiklal Caddesi exit otherwise you'll end up in completely different areas and definitely farther.

5 Şah Kulu Bostan SokakThe nearest metro station to us called Şişhane with its entrance on Istiklal Avenue just before Tünel Square. When coming to us it is essential that you take the Istiklal Caddesi exit otherwise you'll end up in completely different areas and definitely farther.
Departure and arrival spot of the Havataş shuttle buses to and from both airports. Walking from here to our building, through Taksim Square and down Istiklal Avenue, may take between 15 and 30 minutes. You may go for a taxi ride instead for about 10 minutes but make sure the taxi driver turns the meter on when you get in and DO NOT accept any flat rate, whether in local or foreign currency, before boarding because it'll be most likely a rip-off.
