You can see the beautiful mountain above Sofia from the residential complex. It is great to go for some clean air trial walk. A cab should take 10-15lv to the Simeonovo lift that will take you up at the top and it is about 20 mins ride.

Iskar Reservoir
Borovets is a town on the northern slopes of Bulgaria’s Rila Mountains. It’s the gateway to numerous ski and snowboard runs on Rila National Park’s craggy Musala Ridge. Cycle routes crisscross the alpine landscape. Footpaths lead through rocky outcrops and valleys to the 7 high-altitude Musala Lakes, including glacial Icy Lake. Just north, kayaks and other leisure boats ply the Iskar Reservoir’s calm waters.

Getting Around
10 min walk to the metro station ( direct line to Airport and Center of the city). The entrance is from "Obikolna" street.
Arriving from the airport:
Step 1: When you get off at the airport, follow the signs on the floor towards the metro station.
Step 2: Take the metro ( it is only the yellow line going to the airport ) and get off on the 4th stop - Inter Expo Center.
Step 3: On the station follow the signs towards "Druzhba 2" . First go towards "Inter Expo Center" and then to "Druzhba 2". You can take the stairs or the internal elevator to "Druzhba 2" ( going down )
Step 4: Go through the tunnel, and then turn right on "Obikolna" Street. From there it is a 5-10 minute walk to the Residential Complex.
