Beautiful areas to walk, hike, ski, and cycle is an easy 45-minute drive from Calgary. The Town of Bragg Creek has great restaurants, including the famous Barvarian Inn and the Sugar Shake Bakery and ice cream shop, to enjoy during your trip to the area.
The surrounding area is home to Skiing, Fat Biking, Snowshoeing, winter horseback riding are just some of the activities you can enjoy.

Bragg Creek Provincial Park
Beautiful areas to walk, hike, ski, and cycle is an easy 45-minute drive from Calgary. The Town of Bragg Creek has great restaurants, including the famous Barvarian Inn and the Sugar Shake Bakery and ice cream shop, to enjoy during your trip to the area.
The surrounding area is home to Skiing, Fat Biking, Snowshoeing, winter horseback riding are just some of the activities you can enjoy.

I have been able to photograph both the Milky Way and Aurora Borealis around Southern Alberta, and this is a very cool spot where you can experience it as well.

We are fortunate to be in one of the few remaining areas of the world that can boast about having true dark skies. I have been able to photograph both the Milky Way and Aurora Borealis around Southern Alberta, and this is a very cool spot where you can experience it as well.

This gem of a spot is located a quick 5-minute walk from the house. Italian Centre Shop is both a grocery store and a cafe. I highly recommend the caramel brownies! In the summer, they have outside seating.

One of the most beautiful settings for a restaurant, smack dab in the middle of Princes Island Park. It is hard to believe that you are in the Downtown area. A lovely stroll through tree-lined paths, and enjoy a beautifully prepared meal consisting of locally sourced foods. In the summer sit on the outdoor patio and watch the world go by.
