From house, walk to 16 St. and take a bus (S2) to White House.
Start walking from White House, Monument, World War II Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial and back to National Mall.
You can tour the White House, the iconic home of America’s president, by scheduling a visit in advance. Even if you are unable to schedule a visit, walk around to the back to get a closer view of the building.
