Walk up the Beacon for stunning views of the whole coastline. Breathtaking.
Just around the headland to the north of the lighthouse look down and you'll see seals on a secluded beach. The only place you're guaranteed to see these extremely cute creatures in the area.

It's located at Wheal Kitty Workshops where there's a great vibe with surfboard shapers, the charity Surfer's Against Sewage, a cafe and the HQ of Finisterre, the surf brand.

It does a nice line in chunky croque monsieur variations (seafood, veggie and traditional ham and cheese) and the famous hedgehog icecream (lacquered in Cornish clotted cream and rolled in nuts).
An awesome spot for an apres-surf pint and maybe some food too. Watch the sun go down and drink in the balmy atmosphere :)
