This place is worth the trip up Bladensburg Road if you're really into authentic Chinese. It's very unassuming and is in a Day Inn hotel, and the area isn't great, but the food is so, SO good. Lot of people don't know about this place yet, but people who do will tell you it's the best Chinese in the District.

This place is worth the trip up Bladensburg Road if you're really into authentic Chinese. It's very unassuming and is in a Day Inn hotel, and the area isn't great, but the food is so, SO good. Lot of people don't know about this place yet, but people who do will tell you it's the best Chinese in the District.

One of our favorite places in the city for March Madness, College football Saturdays and international soccer. Hate sports? No worries, head to a different corner of this massive place and drink a stein without the sports.

This is a fun spot because the prices of the beers fluctuate based on how much of it people in the bar are ordering, so just drinking and ordering is a game in itself. If you order one beer for $8, it might be down to $5 by the time you finish the first one!

Closest brewery is Atlas Brew Works. It's not our favorite beer but it's a fun spot to hang out! Part of the new thriving Ivy City. Art and bars popping up every where!

We love this MASSIVE wide open bar/club with a huge rooftop that has an RV parked on it... yes you can hang out in there. This place is also great for table games and oversized Jenga. Fantastic place for larger groups if you're meeting people while in town.

The Arboretum is an interesting place. It's a massive park filled with (sometimes seemingly random) structures, different type of trees and there are even like 100 different types of grass or something like that. My favorite part is the bonzai house, which is exactly what it sounds like. Great place for a walk on a nice day.
