De Smisse - Damme is a great place in itself and this place really adds to the charm of the town. We ordered the goat cheese salad and a "croque Monsieur" and it was far better then many other bistro´s where these type of dishes are on the menu. If you are in Damme this is for sure the place you need to go to ..

1 De GarreCOOKIES - Hidden away down a thin alleyway, Cookie's is worth hunting down for some fantastic tapas. Very popular with locals and tourists, we booked a late seating and took on the taster menu. Around 10 courses trickled out at a good pace, each full of flavour and quality. Brilliant.
Carlito's Piazza - The food was fantastic with a great variety of food items. Vegetarians can find something to eat there too. The staff was very friendly. Great value for the money with a Mediterranean atmosphere.

De Garre is delicious and if you visit Bruges, you have to make a stop here! If you don't know what to order, just tell them that you want the house beer and they'll get you taken care of. They serve yummy cheese with the beer and if you want to pay extra you can get a whole board of it with some mustard for dipping. Highly recommend going that route! Cozy atmosphere and is really a place where you can relax and have a good chat after seeing the sites all day.

This is an heritage brewery which is located centrally in Bruges. It has both old and new machines and it been maintained pretty well. The tour takes 45 mins and in the end you also get a glass of beer:-). The tour is nicely planned and attention given to details.

Its a key tourist attraction so expect a queue as u would anywhere else. Its old so expect narrow stairs. And its high so expect a lot of steps (366). And for those who have seen "In Bruges" its probably not best for elephants.
But if the weathers good do it, just be patient and enjoy the city. The views are hard to beat

It's totally empty of people then and makes a great place for long walks, relaxing and watching nature. Bring water proof boots if you want to cross, as the water is still pretty cold in early march!
