Honky Tonk is awesome! The food is delicious, the bartenders friendly, and the crowd really fun. They have live music every night, never a cover!

The best. Born and raised in Mexico City, trained at Ke Cordon Bleu in Paris, how lucky we are that Laura Cid Perea calls Chicago her home.

Essentials

Great grocery store and a landmark of the community. Always responsive to the needs of the neighborhood, La Casa was the first to import products from Mexico. The deli is amazing (house-made chorizo, yes!) snd they have a great assortment of “hipster” items too - great coffee, chia seeds, gourmet kettle chips. What else do you need in a grocery store?
