This is my favourite french bistro. The place is quite small and the dishes are classical french bistro food is the best sense. The staff is welcoming, french and always ready to suggest a good wine to go with your delicious meal.

My cafe-next-door, has a great location with a view of the canal. It is a fine breakfast spot if you feel for something light. I recommend sitting in the sun while enjoying the avocado on ryebread, which is the best in the city.

I usually stop by the tapas spot to drink a little cava and eat some pata negra - it is a great afternoon treat. It is also recommended to sample a picnic basket and walk to one of the nearby parks.

The Kings Garden surrounds the iconic Rosenborg Castle, while offering a nice walk inside the more than 400 year old park. The castle was planed and payed for by King Christian the 4th (who also is the founder of the area where my apartment is located) i 1606 as a summer residence where the court could find entertainment while also supplying flowers, veggies and fruit for the royal household.
Today it is the most used park in Copenhagen where we go to enjoy the sun and catch up. In the spring a beautiful flower blanket lights the way to the castle entrance. During the summer the great oak trees provide shelter for the sun, and the the winter kids run around building snowmen or making snow angles.

Today it is the most used park in Copenhagen where we go to enjoy the sun and catch up. In the spring a beautiful flower blanket lights the way to the castle entrance. During the summer the great oak trees provide shelter for the sun, and the the winter kids run around building snowmen or making snow angles.

It is the home of many of the city's Swans and other birds. Today it is used by the people of Copenhagen when they go running, or as a picturesque rute to walk and talk. It is also possible to rent a svane-boat and paddle around.

Many of the sections are free, and the garden is devoted to research and education.

The church itself is definitely worth a closer look, but the truly amazing thing is the view from the top of the tower. From there all of Copenhagen is at your feet. Its 400 hundred steps to the top of the 90 meter tower.
