The spot for breakfast - the food is amazing, and delicious, fresh and abundant. And fun, as it is close to campus, so lots of college adults, and local UW families. Great walk although a bit long (mile or so maybe) but worth it and you will be glad you are walking after the great meal here.

Full disclosure you will find all the usual suspects regarding stores here, but you will also find a lovely garden shop (Ravenna Gardens), great food and restaurants, including Dim Sung, Italian, Steaks and eccentric. You can also see the first (and only still?) Amazon Brick and Mortar bookstore as they test the intelligence of online big data, and deliver to the face to face book buying experience.
