Tram ride up has great views (you can drive too if you don't want to take the tram). Year round ice skating. Great fudge. Skiing and snow tubing in season if it's cold enough to make snow. Restaurant is dated but typically good. Good margaritas.

A store that is more than a store and a step back in time. Buy local soaps and books about the National Park, jams and jellies and honey during certain seasons. The owners are amazing to talk with about the area! It is located at the end of the Motor Nature Trail or can be accessed directly from Roaring Fork Rd.

Love the peacefulness there. Old houses and churches. Walking trails (including Abrams Falls). I have rode a bike through three times and it is amazing!
Very peaceful (especially on Wed and Sat early mornings loop is closed to vehicle traffic for bicycles and walking only). Lots of wildlife viewing (late evening /early morning).

Love the peacefulness there. Old houses and churches. Walking trails (including Abrams Falls). I have rode a bike through three times and it is amazing!
Very peaceful (especially on Wed and Sat early mornings loop is closed to vehicle traffic for bicycles and walking only). Lots of wildlife viewing (late evening /early morning).
Beautiful drive and many trailheads along the way. Place of a Thousand Drips near the end and it’s neat.

I have several favorites here including Ahi Tuna (it comes as a sandwich but I like it without the bread), pizza (white pie "Brewmaster". I don't like beer but most people I know that like beer can definitely find a favorite here and you can get "samplers" of different types. Margaritas and long island teas are good and they have Singo and trivia nights and sometimes live music!
