It is one of the symbolic monuments of the city. Designed at the end of the 13th century by Arnolfo di Cambio, it is still the seat of the city government. With the advent of Cosimo I De 'Medici, who elected him as his residence, an interior decoration project was started by Vasari and his pupils focused on the celebration of the Medici family. In the grandiose hall of the sixteenth century there is the Victory of Michelangelo, while the Judith and Holoferme of Donatello and the Puttino of Verrocchio are in the oldest part of the Palace. Inside the children's museum organizes workshops and themed tours.
