Beautiful little cafe sitting by the waterfront in the heart of Salcombe. Established in 1976, Captain Morgan's is a Salcombe staple. Brilliant breakfast, the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere of town, on the wooden outside tables. Takeaway is also available.

The style is strong yet simple, spacious yet cosy; it feels like a proper English pub. Enjoy good, fresh; homemade food, great beers and interesting wines, whilst surrounded by wooden floors, old furniture, log fires, bookcases and dozens of local pictures.

If you’re looking for a place to stop for a meal on the way home. It may be just off the A38, but its set in 6 acres of beautiful grounds, bordered for half a mile by the River Glazebrook, and includes their own lake, which is home to dozens of different ducks. The food is again locally sourced produce and is perfect for a proper Sunday lunch.

I’ve recommended this brilliant restaurant with the most delicious fresh fish seafood dishes to lots of guests and no ones been disappointed. The view is outstanding and it’s a perfect place to have a long walk on the beach, either before or after supper. MUST BOOK, gets very booked up in peak periods.

The restaurant is perched on the water’s edge close to their very own Crab Factory, where all the crab meat, fish and shellfish is hand-picked; straight from the fishing boats that operate from The Fish Quay.
A definite fun family favourite. A lovely walk from the centre of Salcombe, simply walk along the coastal road and keep the estuary on your left and your find the fun yellow wooden building tucked behind North Sands Beach. From all you can eat breakfasts, Seafood menu, BBQ in the evenings, children's dishes and old fashioned ice cream van, plus lots of outdoor seating by the beach.
