No great view here, just great food. The food is really, really good and the drinks are amongst the cheapest on the island. Service is a little slow so if you insist on quick service, keep walking but you'll miss out. Best part - while everything on the island closes at 9, Hanks closes at midnight or later!

This restaurant is now our favorite weekend lunch place. Get a table outside and you can see the Gulf and beach enthusiasts. Their new menu is great and the service is also better than before. It's also walking distance (15min).

This is our favorite breakfast place but it is not on the island. It is a minute drive over the bridge on Cortez Rd. During season it gets quite busy but it is worth it. The food is like diner food but really good and the portions are huge.

This little place is on the beach in Holmes Beach. This is a high end fancy place with high end prices. If you're looking for a special occasion place or if high end eating is normally your style then I highly recommend this place. Emeril filmed a show here in 2018 and it has several awards. We love the food, service and the view!

If you're looking for a special occasion place or if high end eating is normally your style then I highly recommend this place. Emeril filmed a show here in 2018 and it has several awards. We love the food, service and the view!
Best burgers and sides on the island. This place is right across the street from the Manatee public beach. This is a very popular place so we usually go between dining hours. They only accept cash but there is an ATM if you forget.

Neighborhoods
Bradenton Beach is the bottom township on Anna Maria Island. There are great shops and restaurants in Bradenton Beach, especially on Bridge Street. Parking can be tricky during season but it is one of the stops if you ride the free trolley or take the Monkey Bus.

Crossing Gulf Drive to get to the beach
When walking from the unit to the beach, you have to cross Gulf Drive. Sometimes cars go faster than they should around the corner so when we get to Gulf, we walk north about 10 feet and then cross. This gives us an extra second to react if needed, especially if we're pulling a wagon.
