One of the best vegan burgers in the city. Plain old fast food style, but healthy and vegan, with huge variety of different burgers and (vegan!) cheese burgers.

Shopping
Carmel market is the must see tourist spot in Tel Aviv, full of kiosks (and usually people), A lot of good restaurants all around (go to one of the side streets and find great bars and places with pretty nice food).
I usually buy in the market most of my vegetables and fruits since they are the freshest and cheapest. The secret is to go early (07:00-08:00 am) before everyone else gets there (then it becomes impossible).
Daniel street (in the most south edge of the market) is usually less crowded and also has a lot of shops and kiosks on it.

Best hipster indie scene bar in Tel Aviv (and my own favorite), always hosts some events in it (from live shows, to inide show cases and movie screenings) Has a big and nice open air plaza where you can enjoy yourself, meet new people eat great pizza or just get wasted :)
p.s. always remember to check the secret room on the way to the toilet, there is always something going on there (from screenings of The Room, improvised art galley hosting and marathonic live shows of psychedelic indie bands - a.k.a reality rehab center)

A great spot, on a roof top of an old building right in the center of Nahalat Binyamin st, better come in a bit early (before 2100) mostly on weekends (thur-sat) since it might have a long waiting list :)

Though pretty small and shitty, Levontin 7, is the main house of live indie music in Tel Aviv, and every night has two live shows one in 8pm and another one around 10-11pm, they usually cost around 30NIS - 50NIS a show, and vary in musical styles. Ask me if there is something good playing tonight (since there might also be some horrible stuff from time to time :P )

Ask me if there is something good playing tonight (since there might also be some horrible stuff from time to time :P )
"House of columns" is probably the best jazz bar in TLV (music wise), the facility itself though is pretty small and has..well...columns in the middle of it, so you better order a table or come really early to get a spot. There is a live performance every night, and Fridays also have a show at 3pm. They usually collect ~20NIS (cash only, for the players). The food is considered good, but doesn't have much vegan options.

14 Rambam St"House of columns" is probably the best jazz bar in TLV (music wise), the facility itself though is pretty small and has..well...columns in the middle of it, so you better order a table or come really early to get a spot. There is a live performance every night, and Fridays also have a show at 3pm. They usually collect ~20NIS (cash only, for the players). The food is considered good, but doesn't have much vegan options.
