Food Scene
This is our favorite restaurant. They have GREAT local music from Blue Grass to cover songs and the food, apps and drinks are top notch and not too pricey. Also, there is a neat patio area where you can dine and listen to live music. The bar is fully stocked and we highly recommend the steak and shrimp grits. Yup, grits.... never had them before we moved here years ago but they are the best! There is a speakeasy room upstairs that has a bar and is FREE to use if you have a party and eating at the restaurant. Super polite people/staff. Must try.

Yummy pizza! Great service. Some local great pizza places are Caudillos Pizza in Rising Sun on Walnut Street and Hometown Pizza in East Enterprise. Both are within 10 minutes of our location but not pulling up on the search for AirBnB.

This casino has decent food and is well maintained. They have a PGA golf course and are located on the Ohio River. If you are doing the casino thing its one to see and check out their entertainment.

Hollywood is a larger casino in the area and has a lot of entertainment as well. The vibe is more "busy". Location is on the Ohio River and walking distance to a lot of Historic Lawrenceburg.

The first casino in the area is still ticking.... the buffet is really good and they have an awesome Christmas set up for the entire family with Santa and gift shops. Great entertainment here as well and a golf course. The history is fun. Think older casino in Vegas.

This is a well known thing to do and super fun for kids. We recommend mature elementary kids and older as its a lot of information. Its not "cheap" but worth the money if this is your thing. Check out their web site.

This zoo has a beautiful setting and the animals seem happy.... for people like us we really appreciate the beautiful surroundings and nicely done habitats. They have a lot of special events and places to eat. Located in Cincinnati and easy parking.

We have a fun history about wines and how wineries ended up in Southeast Indiana, the wineries often share this history so explore and enjoy!

This is not a winery but a wine festival. Its pretty well known, has live music, food and wine/beer tents for an extra fee. The fee is low for what you get which is a lot of wine tasting! Also, the festival is once per year so check out their web site if you are planning a visit late summer.

Kroger has a gas station as well so you can earn gas rewards. We really like this location, there is also one in Madison Indiana. Both have military preferred parking and nice people working there, great place to stock up. Check out their app for coupons and free give away items on Fridays.
