This is a must when you come to Bogotá and are into arts and culture. The Gold Museum displays a selection of pre-Colombian gold together with pottery, stone, shell, wood and textile objects. These items were all considered sacred to indigenous communities and testify to the life and thought of the different indigenous cultures which lived in present-day Colombia before the Spanish conquest of the Americas.
