Getting Around
Just a few blocks from the apartment. The bus comes every 9 minutes. Both the 22 and 522 bus lines can take you east to places like SAP Center, San Jose State University, San Pedro Square Market, San Jose McEnery Convention Center. If you take the lines west, it can take you to Santa Clara University, Bill's Place, and Ike's Sandwiches.

Food Scene
San Pedro square market is one of the places to visit while in downtown San Jose. The market itself isn't too big two buildings walking distance from each other. In the middle of the two buildings is outside seating. During cold nights they have heaters so it stays pretty warm. Love the outside patio area with plenty of seating even on busy weekend nights.
Numerous great places to eat and drink with both indoor and outdoor seating!

Their Dirty Sauce is to die for...and with the combination of warm, toasted bread and fresh ingredients, the entire sammie is made to perfection.

Come here for big concerts and NHL Hockey Games! This is the home of the San Jose Sharks and will be hosting the All-Star game this year!
There are plenty of food choices and variety, including traditional game fare but also healthy options. Have a really had a great time at a game or show as the stadium is part of the wonderful experience.

+picnic benches for sitting, and eating
+play area and structures for children
+paved trail for running, walking, biking and rollerblading
+a rose garden
Wonderful trail and park. The trail goes for about eight miles one way. It is all paved and fairly flat. The park has beautiful facilities and restrooms were well maintained.
