Jam Jar Kitchen is a lovely restaurant in Crantock offering pizza and wine. Be sure to arrive early because you are unable to book and it’s very popular. The restaurant has a beautiful space where you can eat outside under the vines. Take out options are also sometimes available. Again, Crantock is a stunning beach to sit and eat dinner.

Watergate Bay really is a must see. It's a relatively short walk from the apartment and you can take in all that the coastpath has to offer! There are a few bars and cafes in Watergate (and you’ll walk past the Hangout, which I’ve mentioned in this guide). If you feel like keeping going, continue along the coastpath to Mawgan Porth which is approximately 4km beyond Watergate Bay.

If you feel like keeping going, continue along the coastpath to Mawgan Porth which is approximately 4km beyond Watergate Bay.
If you are looking for a short walk to soak up the sea air, a simple loop around Porth Island is always refreshing. The coast path is shut this side of the island, so you have to follow the road down to the Footgolf Cafe on the corner.

Holywell is a huge beach with grass tufted dunes. It's a beautiful area to explore and a short drive from Porth if you would like to explore a little further afield. It's about a 15 minute drive from the apartment on a good run, but in the Summer months it could take much longer due to the traffic.

Fistral is a beach targeted by surfers and popular amongst visitors to the area. It is worth visiting, however it does get extremely busy. There are places to eat and drink to the North end of the beach. If you are parking in the car park, make sure you purchase your parking ticket promptly as it is camera operated!

Visit lifeguard patrolled beaches
If you intend to enjoy the beautiful beaches that the area has to offer, it's always worth checking that where you are headed has lifeguards on duty. Most of the main beaches will do so during the Summer months.
