20mins walk from the house. If you are into Naturism or not (the term we use in Portugal for being naked on the beach) this is one of the most popular beaches in the area of Lisbon. Most people around Meco use this beach, including locals to avoid the crowds, a paradise beach with very difficult access. There is no car access and you'll have to walk at least a few minutes to get there. Just follow the road passing on the closest camping park on the direction of the ocean. You will find it for sure. The beach is huge and there's enough space for everyone even in the most crowded weekends. No lifeguard.

If you happen to pass by Moinho de Baixo beach, you probably noticed one of the restaurants, the old Bar do Peixe, a traditional and one of the most popular restaurants in Meco was burned to the ground. This happened after the summer of 2021, when an old electric post made the event happen. The owners moved to Hangar do Peixe, a restaurant on top of the hill in Bicas Beach. The view is just amazing.

If you happen to pass by Moinho de Baixo beach, you probably noticed one of the restaurants, the old Bar do Peixe, a traditional and one of the most popular restaurants in Meco was burned to the ground. This happened after the summer of 2021, when an old electric post made the event happen. The owners moved to Hangar do Peixe, a restaurant on top of the hill in Bicas Beach. The view is just amazing.
This is Serra da Arrábida. The ex-líbris from the south margin of Tagus river is just 40 mins away from the house. Amazing beaches, amazing views. There's a road that goes all the way on the top of the mountain. Starts in Azeitao and ends almost in Setúbal. Take that one, you won't regret it. The views are stunning. From top You'll see Tróia peninsula on the other side of the Sado Bay, Setúbal, Lisbon. End up checking the beaches on the lower road that goes all the way along the sea.

This is Serra da Arrábida. The ex-líbris from the south margin of Tagus river is just 40 mins away from the house. Amazing beaches, amazing views. There's a road that goes all the way on the top of the mountain. Starts in Azeitao and ends almost in Setúbal. Take that one, you won't regret it. The views are stunning. From top You'll see Tróia peninsula on the other side of the Sado Bay, Setúbal, Lisbon. End up checking the beaches on the lower road that goes all the way along the sea.
Our big village, our municipality. Sesimbra is 20 mins by car. The most famous diving spot near Lisbon. As all villages"by the sea" you won't have problems finding a good fish restaurant here. Try Casa Mateus.
