With warm and welcoming staff with soft and lively Dj music which is not too loud for a chat but loud enough to keep the good vibes going this is an ideal meet up place for friends for pre drinks before a big night! Having said that it also suitable for a casual business dinner or a date night! You will get an amazing selection of wines and a nice variety of courses to choose from! It was one of my favorite places to meet up with friends for pre drinks

The Café Apartment retains its mid-20th-century form: viewed from outside, it might remind you of a chocolate box. In early days it housed government workers and military personnel, later the general public. All rooms face southwest, with balconies looking out on Walking Street, the city, and the Saigon river. A stair leads up to each floor, but there’s also elevator service for 3000 Vietnamese dong (VND) – don’t worry, this isn’t anywhere near as much as it sounds – which is reimbursed when paying the bill at any café. Normal opening hours for cafés are the same as for the building itself: 8AM to 10PM. Drinks and snacks are reasonably priced, but you couldn’t call them cheap.

Ốc Oanh for seafood and shellfish. This is the most famous of all the seafood joints on the street. In Vietnam fame often leads to apathy and a decline in quality, but this is not the case at Ốc Oanh where the portions are big, the seafood fresh, and the service brisk and efficient. Prices are a little higher here than elsewhere but it’s worth it. Be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table, and don’t be shy to shout over the din when it comes to ordering

One of the top ten Vietnamese cuisine in Ho Chi Minh City (TripAdvisor). Good place for business lunch. Reasonable price and good service. English of staff was limited indicating that it may not be big on the foreign tourist run. Restaurant is part of a chain. Menu selection was wide and good choices. Tried chicken with ginger and the steamed rice. Very tasty. Place overall was very clean, staff very friendly ( even with limited English).

Carmen, one of the bars having live music every night in Saigon, has been established and operated since early 2000 to present.
