This place is only at 10 minute walk and Fairfield Fish & Chips is one of Victoria's best. Quality fish & chips it is pretty much a "take out" source although they have maybe half a dozen seats. It's only about 5 minutes from our home and we are not strangers here. By the Way - - they close at 7:30PM.

Gardens developed over a hundred years ago in an abandoned quary and now world famous. Well worth the drive and expect to be here a couple hours if you rush. Three or four hours might be a more appropriate time. Restaurants and shopping available.
Transit available from a stop at Douglas and Pandora or drive North on Highway 17 (Blanshard Street) towards BC Ferries at Schwartz Bay. You will see signage for the Gardens
